What is an Adjustment?
An adjustment is when something listed on the Dolly Details is incorrect and needs to be changed or needs to be added. This is important for all parties so everyone knows what is being moved.
How to make an Adjustment
We provide the Lead Helper with the tools to add adjustments to the Dolly once you’ve started it. Item adjustments happen when the customer asks you to move an item that either isn’t listed or different from what they listed. Please use your best judgement before asking the customer to agree to an item adjustment as it will affect the price of the Dolly.
If the customer agrees to the adjustment, in the Helper app on the Dolly’s Details tap the button in the top right corner, then tap “Adjust this Dolly”. You have the ability to add multiples of the items already listed on the Dolly or remove the item. To add more items you can use the “Adjustment item size guide” to input the item needed to be added, input your item and the system will add it based on it’s size. View our size guide here.
When you tap “Save & Continue” it will bring you to an Adjustment Summary screen. This will show you the adjustments that were made, along with the pricing change.
Make sure the customer agrees to the adjustment before you submit. They will then need to approve the adjustment in their app or through text. When the customer approves you will receive a confirmation alert.
